Foundries

In the foundry sector, work often involves castings and castings (cast iron, cast steel, special alloys, but also aluminum), with cuts on sprues/channels, “hard” surfaces, and sometimes irregular pieces: here, wear resistance, cutting stability, and vibration/impact reduction are important.

A.C.C. blades that are typically well suited to these processes include Performa M51 (bimetallic for heavy-duty cutting): designed for difficult applications, with reduced machine load and micro-resistant cutting edge; also suitable for “challenging” materials/alloys and hardened steels.
